MAY 16 / Unca D is back in-country after . . .

. . . a delightful stint in Sicily, following my dad's footsteps through one of the eleven countries he visited in World War II. His tour guide was George S. Patton, Jr., who permitted little time for sightseeing. Lady Di and I have made up for it. Pictures are being posted here, with many more to come.

OCTOBER 27 / Congratulations to . . .

 

. . . to cousins Abby and J.T. Weems for their triumphs in the Piney Woods Fair livestock show in Nacogdoches earlier this month. J.T. scored in the premium goat category and Abbie in Class 1 goats. 

Not sure which Weems goat I photographed back in July, but he, she, or it already had the haughty demeanor of goat royalty.
