. . . Secretariat. Stand by for Rush to play, "Oh, Happy Day!"
Paraphrase of his comments:
Ill tell you what is threatening about Secretariat to people on the left: If you're going to have those kinds of conservative values -- hard work, etc. -- you're going to have judgment, values.
This song in Secretariat was a spiritual. I played this song on the radio in my hometown of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Oh, happy day, oh happy day, oh happy day, when Jesus washed, oh when he washed, when Jesus washed, washed my sins away.
I'm sure this religious theme is one the elements that the leftist entertainment people were offended by.
That song inspired the Rush Hawkins singers many years later.
Talent on loan from God. . . . Thank the Lord, Rush Limbaugh's on! Thank the Lord, Rush Limbaugh's on!
By the way, the guy who wrote Secretariat is a devout Christian. And he's a patriot too. He wrote the movie Miracle. I sure that offends them too.

Unca D's take on the song is consistent with Mr. Limbaugh's, but better.
