JO ANN BARTON, "Footprints: Grab the opportunities when you can," Garrison in the News, October 21, 2010
Thursday afternoon, Bob and I went to the Shoji Tabuchi Show known as the "First Family of Branson," which my all-time favorite. He is a world-renowned violinist and he and his wife Dorothy and daughter Christina, embody what Branson is all about, talent and showmanship. It is a family show with a touch of class, it's a performance filled with everything from country to classics. It's dancing and drums, cowboys with rope twirling and musicians treating you to country, gospel and sons and costumes from the 50s, 60s and 70s. He adds a bit of his Christmas show for those who will not be able to return and ends with tear-rending patriotism.
Saturday we drove home, and my telephone "told me" that I had 35 messages.
