. . . in eastern Washington state?
Me neither. But for those so inclined, the go-to place is Longhorn T Ranch, creation of my nephew Andrew, niece-in-law Michelle, and younguns Aaris and Trinity.
Andrew inherited his love of soil, plants, and animals from his grandpa John D. Hancock.
They are pictured below on a Belarus tractor on the old farm in Nacogdoches County back in the late 1970s. Andrew looks different now..
He inherited his good looks and good sense from my brother Danny and my sister-in-law Glennette.
The creature up top is LT Victorious Envader, "grandson of the acclaimed Victory Lap." He'll set you back $2,500 and won't fit comfortably in your back yard.
Meanwhile Mr. Envader pays for his keep by posing for photographs and courting the lady longhorns on the ranch.
Sometimes life is just too interesting to quite believe.
