THE FINALS of the quadrennial Cliburn competition began Thursday in Fort Worth and continue this afternoon. They all sound good to me, but the special award for best named contestant goes to . . .
. . . Fei-Fei Dong, 22, China.
The last concert is by the lone U.S. finalist, Sean Chen, 24, probably around 4:30 or 5:00 p.m.
The awards ceremony is at 7:00 p.m.
