These guys and gals are cogitating right now, I guarantee, on how to pump yet more money -- your money and your kids' money -- to embalm this beached whale.
Maybe we need another study.
Maybe we need to solicit more proposals from hucksters who will offer to take this corpse off our hands, for a price.
Maybe we need another election with a smaller bond issue. Yeah, that's the ticket. The voters have spoken: They want a cheaper plan.
But what we don't need -- no, no, no -- is the simplicity and clarity of the wrecking ball.
