But a solid first, ta-da, for "Meanest."
Says the Washingtonian: Ms. Jackson has been "voted one of the top three meanest by House staffers five times."
Former aides tell of excessive workloads, brutal criticism, and callous comments toward a disabled staffer (who is suing Lee). She got seven times as many votes [as the runner-up for "Meanest"].
How likely are these dishonors to be mentioned in the Houston Chronicle?
Lest you forget, the Chronicle always endorses Ms. Lee for reelection. She may be a loudmouth. She may not not be a decent human being. But, darn it, she always votes right. What's an editor to do?
