The state that changed is . . .
. . . Kansas. It jumped from Independent-Posing-As-a-Democrat to Republican. Actually the RCP numbers are tied at 45.2 between Republican Pat Roberts to Independent (nudge, nudge, wink, wink) Greg Orman. Apparently ties go to the incumbent.
The trend is clearly Roberts's friend. He has won three of the last four statewide polls in Kansas.
Real Clear Politics counts nine states as toss-ups. The GOP is leading in eight.
If 53-47 holds, it will be an eight-seat pickup for Republicans.
