. . . BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA, his policies and politics, progressivism, hard liberalism, Occupysters, faculty lounges far and wide, community organizers, Hollywood millionaires, obligatory white guilt, collegiate sophomores, fundamental transformers, and all manner of idiots, idiocy, and plain old meanness. It also repudiated . . .
. . . the Houston Chronicle editorial board, which -- with exceptions here and there -- cheerleads almost every person and idea that was repudiated.
The editors' bodies live in or around Houston, Texas, but their hearts, minds, and souls are far, far away, in states and states of mind that, despite their evident or impending failures, forever grip the imagination of the left.
Our editors themselves as missionaries, spreading the ideas and values of the superior creatures who populate New York, California, and the District of Columbia. Houston?
Not one person on that board is capable of understanding what just happened, or why.
That's because not one person on that board shares the ideas or values or culture of church-going, hard-working, family-oriented traditional Texans.
The editorial board of the Houston Chronicle is cheerfully exercising its God-given right to help drive its newspapers into ruin. So be it.
But why can the newspaper not hire one -- just one! -- columnist who speaks for and to the people who spoke so loudly last Tuesday? Wouldn't that be, if nothing else, good business?
