. . . physically and verbally abuse their neighbors, and mark their territory with urine and feces. Give the street people needles, food, and other stuff. Never arrest the street people. Do arrest people who try to defend their own homes and neighborhoods from the street people.
Shut off electrical power to more than 800,000 households and businesses 500,000 homes.
Try to solve the shortage of housing with a new rent-control law that will cause more housing shortages.
And while we're at it, how about bad public schools, extraordinary taxes and benefits for government workers, excessive regulation, the most generous poverty benefits and highest poverty rate in the nation, importation of the poor of many nations, and exportation of middle-class and high-income residents who are tired of all this?
California has a long way to go, but give the state credit: It has joyfully embraced Chavismo and, one step at a time, hops and skips toward the socialist utopia that is Caracas. All this done by leftists who revel in their own moral superiority and think poorly folks like you and me.
The propaganda ministry of California, sadly, has a consulate in Houston. It is called The Houston Chronicle. The editors want Texas to follow in the footsteps of California. Seriously.
