. . . to be president of the United States. I plan to vote for Donald John Trump for president. The principal reason is . . .
. . . that the alternative presidents being offered by the Democrats are far less fit, as Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton was in 2016. I voted against her. I will vote with a clear conscience, some satisfaction, and a wee bit of joy against whichever candidate pops out of today's band of Democratic presidential wannabes. On balance, President Trump has far more character than they, far more accomplishments than they, and better policies than they.
I am not in a position today to lay out the full argument. For reasons I will explain in more detail later, I now struggle to write. Nevertheless, the main point has been stated, and today is a good day to continue the long march to a full statement on why Mr. Trump, a deeply flawed man, deserves the support of all sensible, patriotic, and decent Americans.
Democrats have weaponized the CIA and the FBI and (aided by a handful of Republicans) and subverted the government to run a serious coup attempt against an elected American president.
Is this proposition is true? If yes, what is the proper response at the ballot box?
Sadly for the Republic, this proposition is true. Full arguments must await another day, alas (and Lord willing). For now, just open your mind to the possibility that the facts support the proposition.
Fact one is that the U.S. intelligence community eavesdropped on Mr. Trump's presidential campaign. When candidate Trump said this was happening, he was roundly mocked. Turns out, he was right and the mockers were wrong. The denials were exactly what the president called them: fake news.
Fact two is that on the coup insiders then spent two years and millions of dollars to try to prove the president had colluded with Russia to win his election. The ultimate debunking of this fantasy has prompted no serious reflection, much less shame, among those who were responsible or, sadly, among mainstream journalists who passed along the slanders as they were leaked and knowingly refused (and still refuse) to investigate the coup hypothesis.
There's more, but this will do for now.
These things should never have happened, but they did, and continue. Democrats, as a group, are happy about the eavesdropping and the debunked collusion fairy tale. They are disappointed, not in being found out, as they have been, but in failing (so far) to remove President Trump from office. Unless stopped, they will continue trying, ceaselessly.
If Democrats in the intelligence community, Democrats in Congress, and Democratic bureaucrats in the upper intestine of the U.S. government (aided by a few Republicans) have indeed attempted a coup against an elected president, what is the proper response?
If you have to ask the question, there's not much else to say, is there? You're okay with a coup attempt against a president you hate. You would sacrifice the integrity of our elections and government to remove him from office. In the world you inhabit, no one can serve as president unless he or she is acceptable to Democrats and high-ranking bureaucrats in the intelligence agencies and elsewhere in federal government.
Your path to redemption is to renounce allegiance to the offending party and do what you can to block its path to power at every level of government, from president to dogcatcher. The virus that infects today's Democratic party cannot be cured; it can only be eradicated by removing known carriers from government office.
MORE TO COME. CHECK BACK FROM TIME TO TIME.
