. . . has matched his all-time post-inauguration approval rating -- 46.3 percent -- which he first hit 29 days ago. (President Trump Job Approval, Real Clear Politics, March 25, 2020 at 11 a.m.)
I'm not the sort who looks at day-to-day polls and declares how remarkable they are, but . . .
. . . these approval numbers are remarkable.
And get this: Of the ten polls on the RCP screens, the spread between President Trump's approval and disapproval numbers are either tied (2) or positive (2).
Four factors have kept President Trump's numbers low for the past three years and four months -- propaganda from Democrats, biased reporting from the mainstream media, a conspiracy by the FRI and high national intelligence officials to remove the president from office or destroy his presidency, and President Trump's intemperate character and big mouth.
Despite it all, here he is, bouyed by little more than having done a good job, on balance, as president.
Now a crisis has come and, to the astonishment of Democrats, the media, and his enemies in government, his post-inauguration approval rating is at an all-time high.
Who woulda thunk?
